Oleksii Bordanov portrait

Oleksii Bordanov — artist, sculptor, and spatial designer. Born in Ukraine to an artistic family, he refined an early gift for painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts. His work merges expressive color with modern form, drawing from nature, urban rhythm, and human emotion.

In painting, his vocabulary blends Impressionist light with contemporary clarity — vibrant hues, deliberate gesture, and poised restraint. In sculpture, he works in stone, metal, and glass to shape dynamic silhouettes that feel both architectural and alive.

This dual fluency extends into spatial design: bespoke environments for restaurants, clubs, hotels, and public spaces where art frames the experience. Across Kyiv, Paris, and Barcelona, his works have appeared in prestigious exhibitions and entered notable private collections.

In Kyiv, Oleksii shaped interiors for renowned venues, integrating sculpture and art objects that became local icons. In France and Spain, he developed site-specific pieces for galleries, hotels, and urban settings — works designed to interact with light, material, and landscape.

He established a gallery in Saint-Tropez (2017) and a second in Calpe (2024), each serving as a collector destination and a platform for contemporary artists and designers. His practice unifies painting, sculpture, and spatial design into a single, precise language.

Today, Oleksii delivers this language across Europe — creating refined works where craft, material, and proportion elevate the spaces we inhabit. Future plans include new art spaces across Europe and the United States.
